I had two sixth forms five minutes apart and couldn't separate them. The compare view put results, Ofsted ratings and subject lists side by side — I chose the one with the stronger psychology pathway and applied that evening.

Everyone at school talked about A Levels like they were the only option. Searching by subject showed me a BTEC in Engineering ten minutes from home — the eligibility checker confirmed my grades fit before I wasted an application.

I knew I wanted to earn while I learned but had no idea where to start. Filtering for apprenticeship routes showed me a Level 3 engineering apprenticeship with a local employer — I'd never have found it on the college websites alone.

I missed the main application window because we moved house in the spring. ApplicaaOne showed me which colleges were still accepting applications — I found a place on a Health & Social Care course three weeks before enrolment.

Choosing between two colleges felt impossible until I shortlisted both and compared them properly — travel time, course satisfaction and student reviews. Seeing what last year's students actually said settled it.

The careers quiz suggested digital and tech roles I hadn't considered, then linked me straight to T Level courses nearby. I'm now on a Digital Production T Level with an industry placement — a route I didn't know existed in Year 11.
